Singer Joel Amadi’s Father Killed By Herdsmen

Nigerian singer, Joel Amadi, popularly known as Joe-El, took to Twitter to announce the killing if his father by herdsmen in Kaduna, Nigeria.

The singer says his father was shot dead after he was kidnapped along with some other people by herdsmen in Kaduna State.

Joel, who is also popular for looking like Nigerian music legend, 2baba had earlier shared the news of his father’s kidnap via his Instagram page @joeelkennis.

He wrote ”Killing is going on in my father’s village zikpak, kafanchan, and my dad has been missing including other villagers are missing and houses are burnt yet no help. Please report this till it get to the governor @elrufai of Kaduna State and the necessary armed forces of Nigeria

The Northern state of Kaduna has been terrorized by herdsmen in recent week with many lives and properties lost. This has led to massive protest by the people including women going nude in their protest.

Joel’s father, who was reported missing has now been killed according to the news shared by the singer on his Twitter page.

His tweet @joeelkennis reads ‘‘It’s just been confirmed that my lovely dad is dead-shot by herdsmen and my mom and sisters can’t even talk to me on phone. Please tag @elrufai he needs to know that he is not doing enough to curb the state of terrorism in Kaduna State

The recent attack in the state occured in Agwala Magayaki of Doka Avong in Kajuru Local Government Area, where 7 persons have been killed.
