Simi has been feeling the heat on Twitter after she made a tweet congratulating Wizkid and Burna Boy for winning the prestigious Grammy Award.
The sonorus singer in her congratulatory message ended her post with a Davido coined slang, ‘E Choke’.
Her tweet reads, “Star boy and Burna. E Definitely Choke!!!“
This got her sticks by fans of the 30BG boss who claimed the tweet was to shade the ‘Fem’ crooner.

A particular Twitter user @mikeoriv wrote, “Simi ending that tweet with e choke doesn’t really make sense sha. E be like shade.
Simi then replied, “Loool ffs I LOVE David and I LOVE Wiz. I was celebrating the winners and used the slang just as a SLANG. A friend said to remove it cos fans thought it was shade and so I did. It didn’t even occur to me at allll. WHAT WOULD BE THE POINT OF ME SHADING EITHER OF THEM?? To what end?“
Although the mother-of-one deleted some of her earlier tweets, she was still dragged by Davido’s fans.
