For days the Nigerian media has carried the unfortunate news of the death of the Super Tv Ceo, Michael Usifo Ataga who was killed by his side chick, Chidinma Ojukwu and findings from this case gives a deeper understanding as to why some ladies will die on this hill.
The suspect confessed to killing the victim and taking his valuables alongside his debit card where she withdrew almost 400,000 naira from. While many are not surprised at the relationship they had, the big question was, ‘Why kill him?’
We can however deduce from Chidinma’s case that it is safe to say that Side Chicking is now a business venture for some. You indulge Mr X’s romantic advances and get money in return, what could possibly go wrong right? Well, murder!
Chidinma’s case, before it escalated could have been described as a small scale venture compared to some senior counterparts who have built sustainable wealth from this side chick business and according to the takes when topics like these are being brought up, it seems wives as wisening up and creating safety nets for themselves because some have accepted that the side chicks will not be closing business soon.
Just last week, popular media influencer, Laura Ikeji made a video advising married women to stack up property/ valuable assets because it seems the side chick plague is growing faster in marriages.
