Nigerian undercover journalist, Kiki Mordi has been nominated for the 2020 International Emmy Awards, for her ‘Sex for Grades‘ undercover documentary.
Kiki Mordi became famous in 2019 when she uncovered the Sex for Grade activities by lecturers from the University of Lagos and University of Ghana.
The BBC journalist has now got a nominations in the News and Current Affairs category of the Emmy Awards.
Kiki Mordi dropped out of medical school from the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) due to sexual harassment from a lecturer. She has since worked as BBC’s Africa Eye Reporter as well as a radio presenter on BBC World Service.
The excitement journalist has now taken to her Official Twitter page to make the announcement. Reacting to the nomination, she wrote ‘‘Lmao what is this news I just received (laugh emoji)”
The fans and followers of the Rivers state born journalist have been congratulating her for the landmark achieved in her career.
