Senator Ali Ndume advised the government to increase capital expenditure allocation as he classified this time as a critical season. In his opinion, sustaining the same staff cost and overhead cost when many of the civil servants are not working does not have any justification.
He emphasised the distribution of palliatives and reduction in salary while stating the need for people to sacrifice as the country is going through hard times as it stands.
