Divergent opinions have continued to trail the advice Pastor Enoch Adeboye gave young brides via a birthday message for his wife, who clocked 72 years on Monday, July 13.
Reacting to the advice, some Twitter users noted that it is unbelievable that the Cleric found a way to make his wife’s birthday about himself and his power over her.
You will recall that in the birthday message for his wife, Pastor Adeboye commended her for her submissiveness and advised young brides to regard their husbands as the head of the family.
However, a Twitter user @_Toseen tweeted “If marriage is going to be how Baba Adeboye described it, then I cannot can.
Meanwhile, many other users on the app defended Pastor Adeboye noting that he is in the best position to give such a piece of advice given his experience about Marriage.
