Nigerian popular female disk jockey, Florence Otedola has revealed the inspiration to her latest album titled ‘Original Copy’.
The debut album ‘Original Copy‘ has been well received by music fans all over and has got the billionaire’s daughter more credit than ever. Cuppy revealed that animal sounds inspired the new album after she visited her family’s farm in Epe, Lagos.
In her words, ”I went back to my roots, where I am from; Epe and mixed with the locals for inspiration, I visited my family’s farm and recorded lots of ambient and animal sound samples”
‘‘If you listen very carefully you can hear these in each track” she said.

She also expressed her joy about the new album which she described as a dream come trues. She said, ‘‘I am so proud that the album is now out. For me, it’s not about numbers and statistics and charts. It’s about the fact that I was able to focus and actually achieve my dream of having an album”
The 12-tracks ‘Original Copy’ album by DJ Cuppy has features from A-list music artists in the world among which is Wyclef Jean, Julian Marley, Rema, Fireboy, Rayvanny, Sir Shina Peters, Teni, and many more.
