Former Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki has decsribed the death of Senator Rose Okoji Oko as a great shock.
Saraki who described the late Senator as a soft spoken, kind and committed lawmaker noted that late Okoji was committed to improving the welfare of her community and Country.
In a post on his twitter handle, the former Governor of Kwara State added that the vacuum the late lawmaker left will be hard to fill as he also prayed that God grants her rest.
Saraki tweeted “I have received reports of the passing away of Senator Rose Okoji Oko with a great deal of shock. As a colleague at the 8th Senate she was soft spoken, kind and committed to the task of improving the welfare of her community and country”.
The vacuum created by this loss will be hard to fill. I pray God grants her rest and strengthens her family through these trying times. Amen.

Senator Okoji Oko who served as Chairman of the Senate committee on trade and investment reportedly died at a medical facility in the United Kingdom at the age of sixty-three.
Everyevery.ng gathered that her death was confirmed by a close relative, Patrick Ikorgor Okoroji, who said the senator died after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
