The mother of Muhammadu Sanusi, deposed emir of Kano, visited her son at Awe, the Nasarawa town where he was banished to after his dethronement.
Dressed in a red gown, the former emir’s mother was accompanied by two ladies. Shortly after meeting with her son, Sanusi departed the town in the company of Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state.
