As Nigeria battles Coronavirus, the house of Rep members receives brand new cars, Toyota Camry 2020 model. It was disclosed that the rep members claim the cars are utility vehicles.
The purchase, distribution and unit cost of the cars have been kept on the low by the members of the house of representatives.
Some Rep members who were contacted declared that they are yet to receive the delivery of their own vehicles. Allegedly, the cars are to be distributed in batches.

The source said, “I was told 100 have already arrived and they are sharing them to new members who are not chairmen and deputy chairmen (of committees). The next batch will be for returning (ranking) members who are neither chairmen nor deputy chairmen. The last batch will go to ranking member with appointments.”
It is paramount to note that the representatives of the masses have preoccupied themselves with the purchase of luxury Toyota Camry 2020 vehicles at the expense of tax payers. This could be categorized as being insensitive in the midst of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the nation and world at large.
