The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has expressed disappointment over how some Nigerians reacted to the attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA.
According to Adesina, the construct that some people give to certain developments in the country is disheartening.
He added that the negative comments about the attack on the Academy tend to paint a narrative of the humiliation of the Nigerian Army and the Buhari-led administration.
The Presidential aide said the reactions trailing the Academy’s attack indicate that the country is filled with haters of government and humanity. He noted that some Nigerians deliberately rejoices at evil and all forms of iniquity.
Adesina opined that Nigerians could not compare to how it was under the Jonathan-led administration when bombs went off like firecrackers in the country. He added that many Nigerians kept complaining, wailing and grumbling despite the success achieved by the Nigerian military.
