After watching the Real Housewives of Abuja show trailer, residents in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, among other Nigerians, took to Twitter to blast the programme.
It’s already looking like the show will be Dead on Arrival, DOA, judging from the comments and reactions pointed towards the trailer.
However, things might just turn out differently for the show as a few people think it would be interesting to watch once they premiere the first episode.

But, the likes of Aisha Umar Bello with the handle @Shatou, tweeted that she just saw the trailer of ‘Real Housewives of Abuja’ and she honestly thought the casts were all Kannywood Actresses that starred in it, only to see them Northern hibiscus.
Aisha further revealed that two of the actresses featured in the reality TV show aren’t married. “But that’s beside the point. So our moral decadence has reached this low. Allah Ya shirye mu.”
On @ayngjr status, he posted on the microblogging site, saying, any people that leave their culture, abandon their way of life, would lose their respect and identity.
He stressed that it is the same for people that try to emulate an alien culture, adding that they would end up being a caricature of what they are trying to copy.
“They would be out of source everywhere and at home nowhere.” He said.
