PSG are determined to improve their team ahead of next season massively, and the club is pushing hard to convince Barcelona star Lionel Messi to join their star-studded team during the summer.
The French club is quite desperate to prise the Argentine away from the Camp Nou at the end of his contract on June 30, and they are willing to flex their considerable financial muscle to make it happen.
PSG offer Messi pre-contract deal
Lionel Messi’s contract expires on June 30, and the French giants are bent on luring him away from Catalonia. They believe that they possess the financial impetus and capability to pull this off.
TNT Sports Brazil reports that PSG has offered Messi a two-year deal, one that boasts figures the French champions believe cannot be matched by most other clubs, not even Barcelona.
PSG’s interest in Messi is well-known, but the No.10 is yet to give Barcelona an answer on his future, and his contract ends in just two months.
There is a belief that Barcelona’s Copa del Rey triumph and chances of winning LaLiga could fall in the Catalans’ favour and be enough to convince him to stay.
