Famous Prophet and leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering, Shepherd Bushiri, has confirmed that he lost his 8-year-old daughter, Israella, to a lung infection.
According to the embattled Prophet, Israella died in the Intensive Care Unit of a Kenyan hospital on Monday, March 29.
The cleric, who had earlier called an emergency prayer meeting for his daughter described Israella as a strong young girl who loved to worship and serve God.
Prophet Bushiri noted that he and his wife choose not to mourn but to celebrate her life, adding that the will of God was for her to return to Him.
The Prophet stated that Israella was born when he and her mother were going through great persecution. He described the late Israella as a victim of the persecutions that he faced from South Africa.
Prophet Bushiri, also known as Major 1, is a Malawian Christian preacher, motivational speaker, businessman, author and founder of the Charismatic Evangelical church with its headquarters in Pretoria, South Africa.
Bushiri had earlier described the church as a Prophetic Ministry based on the principle that God cares and loves people.
You will recall that Prophet Shephard and his wife Mary were arrested in South Africa in October 2020 on corruption charges and were re-arrested in Malawi on November 18, 2020, after skipping bail..
