Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has said prison experience for any politician is a badge of honor. He made this statement when he was represented on a visit to Chief Whip Orji Uzor Kalu who was recently released from the Nigeria Correctional Centre in Kuje, Abuja.
Femi Gbajabiamila who was represented by the Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Idris Wase sympathized with Kalu’s family over his incarceration. He encouraged him to add the experience to his life lessons and commit it to God.

In his words, if one is a good politician, it is imperative that one will have a taste of the prison as it comes in so many ways.
Gbajabiamila who was represented by Wase urged all the leaders to appreciate the opportunity given to them by God and use it for the positive development of the country.
