The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 (PTF) has approved the use of herbal mixtures for the treatment of coronavirus pandemics in the country.
Saying this at the daily presidential task force briefing was the chairman of the team, Boss Mustapha.
The chairman pointed out that three herbal drugs were approved and validated by the team and then sent to other relevant authorities for testing and further approval.
You recall that while the WHO had earlier stopped the trial of hydroxychloroquine for use as a treatment for the COVID-19 pandemic, the NAFDAC said they would keep on with their own trials.
Also, reports are that the federal government had received the herbal cure from Madagascar that has been widely touted by their President to be a cure for the virus.
