President Muhammadu Buhari has appointted former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as the new Chief of Staff.
According to Bashir Ahmad, who is the Personal Assistant to the President on New media, the announcement of Gambari’s appointment was made during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha announced the appointment at the virtual FEC Meeting.
Gambari is to replace late Abba Kyari, the former CoS who passed away due to Coronavirus complications on April 17, 2020.
