A political Influencer on Twitter, Nefertiti, with the handle @firstladyship, has exposed the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Administration on their rice propaganda that deceived Nigerians for years before they came to their senses.
Despite the rice pyramid campaign that transpired in several Northern Nigerian States, displaying in the public eye that Nigeria now has enough rice in storage to last many years to come, the reality of this facade is there is not enough locally grown food to cater for the populace.
That brings to mind the question regarding the steady rise in the cost of this food commodity in our markets today, for every new week, there’s a different price tag for either foreign or local rice.
In her tweet, Nefertiti asked, “What happened to this Rice Propaganda?” Her comment section was filled with reactions from Nigerians that felt the same way bout President Buhari.
