Men of the Nigerian police force(NPF) have found the decomposing body of man declared missing months ago.
24-year-old Olarenwaju Ogundare was declared missing in December 2020, and his pictures permeated social media at the time in a desperate attempt to find the young man.
According to reports, the deceased came back to his parents’ house in Dimula street, Ikotun to drop his bags after work on Christmas day and left to spend the holidays with his friends.
On getting to his friend’s residence, he called his mom to notify her of his arrival. However, that was the last his family heard from him.
The worry began after Olarenwaju failed to show up at work on the 28th of December forcing his colleagues to call his family. His family immediately reported to the Idimu Police station while doubling efforts to find him.
Decomposing Body of Missing Man Found
On the 1st of February, the police found the decomposing body of missing man identified as the deceased with the help of his pictures. Investigations suggest that suspected armed robbers killed the young man on the same night he got to his friends’ place.
Reports have it that his family asks for the case to be closed due to lack of funds to carry out an autopsy.
