Manchester United and France playmaker Paul Pogba has demanded to be the club’s highest-paid player to remain in the club, or he will return to Juventus next year. According to an Italian journalist, the Frenchman has already decided to leave Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba Wants to be Valued More Than Ronaldo to Remain at United
The midfielder’s current deal at Old Trafford will expire next June, and it appears increasingly unlikely that he will be penning an extension with the 20-time English champions. Juventus is not the only club the player is looking at, as Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also signing the player.
The club has been strongly linked with the World Cup winner, but according to Galetti, the Spanish giants are only Paul Pogba’s “Plan B”, with the 28-year-old aiming to return to Juventus, where he spent four years. The former Le Havre youngster has also reportedly never considered making a move to Paris Saint-Germain despite claims that the French giants are keen on signing him.
Manchester United offered him a contract package with a salary of €30-32m between fixed and variable parts, but he’s not interested in that project. Paul Pogba wants to renew his contract with Manchester United. Still, he is demanding his pay be increased, which will make him the highest-paid player overtaking Cristiano Ronaldo to become the Premier League’sLeague’s highest-paid player.
Pogba could be out for the next ten weeks with the thigh problem that he picked up during a training session with France, and there have been claims that the midfielder could have played his last game for Man United.
