A suspected herdsmen attack has again hit the good people of Plateau state leaving no fewer than seven persons dead. The incident happened in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. It was also reported that the killing is coming less than 24 hours after 18 other persons lost their lives in a during a clash between bandits and members of a vigilante group in the Wase Council Area of the State.
Seven Persons Confirmed Dead in Plateau Fresh Attack
Rwang Tengwong, the National Publicity Secretary of the Berom Youth Moulders Association, confirmed the recent attack and the killings in Jos South LGA to newsmen on Monday in Jos. According to him, said seven people have been confirmed dead in Danda chugwi community following an attack by suspected Fulani militias.
He disclosed that the attack happened on Sunday, 31st July 2022 at about 9:00 pm. He also said other people who sustained serious gun injuries have been taken to Vom Christian hospital for immediate medical attention. No statement has been issued by security agencies in the State concerning the recent killings.
