Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, has reacted to the praises and encomiums showered on him and the comparisons he has drawn to the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry.

The singer trended on social media yesterday after people lauded him for fighting and standing up for his wife, Lola Omotayo, in the face of a family adversary. This is similar to what Prince Harry is currently doing with his wife, Meghan Markle.
Mr P’s name came into the picture after a woman on Twitter spoke highly of Prince Harry’s actions and said that an Igbo man would never put his wife first that way.

Some people disagreed with her. Then, Peter Okoye was used as a practical example, recalling how he stood by his Yoruba wife, Lola, during the clash he had with his brothers and other family members.
