The Federal High Court Sitting in port Harcourt today struck out the case seeking to restrict Oshiomole from contesting in the on-coming PDP primaries in Edo State. The plaintiff counsel had sort for an out of court settlement option before the sitting was adjourned earlier today.
The court which was presided by Justice Emmanuel Obile decided to strike out the case after the parties involved announced that they are going with an out of court settlement.

Mr Omoregie Ogbeide Ihama who was an aspirant in the PDP was said to have made a deal with OBAseki alongside other aspirants shortly before the resumption of the sitting after the initial adjournment. On account of this, he informed his lawyers to withdraw the suit.
The. lawyer of the plaintiff led by D. C. Denwigwe, (SAN), informed the court orally that the parties involved have decided and concluded terms to settle the dispute out of court.
