Manchester United forward, Odion Ighalo has posted a video of teammates in the club’s dressing room with Paul Pogba dancing to Wizkid’s ‘Soco’ song.
Odion Ighalo is definitely living his dream as a Manchester United player. The Nigerian who supports the ‘Red Devils’ from childhood is having great times in his stint with the English Premier league side.
Since joining United, the Nigerian forward has been in a good mood which has also made him play another Nigerian star, Wizkid’s ‘Soco’ in the Manchester United locker room.
‘Soco‘ is one of Wizkid’s Afrobeat sounds to the world. The song which featured label mates Ceeza Milli and Terri is still a jam years after its release.
In the video posted which has since gone viral, Paul Pogba took the spotlight with an African dance move as Odion Ighalo, Juan Mata, Daniel James, Brandon Williams and other teammates watched on.
This is not the first time Wizkid’s song would be played in the Manchester United locker room. Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard has once posted a video filmed by teammate Fosu Mensah as they danced to ‘Come Closer’ feat. Drake.
This is a good one for African music, it is yet another testament to the fact that entertainment is Nigeria’s top export to the world in recent years.
