The General-Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, meets the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
Adeboye said he decided to go out of his schedule to see RCCG members, who God delivered from the kidnappers’ den while they were on their way to the Lets Go Fishing Exercise.
The cleric confirmed that the freed RCCG members were hale and hearty before leaving to visit the Statehouse in Kaduna to pray for the state, its people and its leadership for peace and protection.
Adeboye Meets Governor El-Rufai
Adeboye prayed for peace in Kaduna State and our nation Nigeria as a whole. Earlier, Malam El-rufai revealed that he met with Pastor Adeboye in Sir Kashim Ibrahim House.
You will recall that Pastor Adeboye announced that the eight members of the RCCG kidnapped by bandits on March 26 in Kaduna State had regained freedom and taken to a hospital for medical check-up.
Sources revealed that their abductors released them in batches, though it is unclear if any ransom was paid.
Meanwhile, the bandits established contact with the church’s leadership to demand N50 million ransom before releasing their victims a day after the incident.
