Again, Ordinary Ahmed Isah, popularly referred to as Ordinary President, blessed some widows and assured others that he would continue to fight for their rights against in-laws and relatives that have vowed to make their lives a living hell.
On Wednesday Morning, during the Brekete Family Programme, Ordinary Ahmed treated several cases involving widows and the unfair treatment meted upon them by their families.
He handled a case regarding domestic violence against a woman who had no influential person to protect her from the abuses by her estranged husband.
Another widow from Kano was displaced from her home after her husband died, and relatives, and in-laws, including her brother, connived to send her packing.
Before acting on the cases, Dr Isah doled out cash and bags of rice to help the women cater for their families until justice is attained.
The human rights programme has since been giving a voice to the vulnerable, the poor, sick, the abused etc., and sometimes is overwhelmed by the number of cases daily.
