Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo has launched a fight against Coronavirus attack and Spread in Ogun State with the recent donation of his former house as an isolation centre in the state.
Obasanjo who is an elder stateman announced in a statement signed by his Special Assistant Media, Kehinde Akinyemi that his on former residence at the Presidential Hilltop, Abeokuta, Ogun State be used as Isolation centre for victims of the dreaded Coronavirus disease.
According to report, the 32-room facility has been handed over to the Ogun state government for immediate takeover.
The house said to be located at Oke Sari, Abeokuta with a standby generator is coming at a crucial time when bed spaces at isolation centers might not be enough to accomodate victims of the virus.
It would be recalled that the former President’s state Ogun currently has three confiremd cases of coronavirus.
