Uche Elendu cries out over looted store
Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu has taken to social media to share her pain after bandits made away with everything in her place of business during the crisis in Lagos yesterday.
Some parts of the country including Lagos, Rivers etc were in a chaotic state following the Lekki massacre. Thugs took over the streets, burning police stations, politicians buildings and attacking people with weapons. These thugs literally hijacked a peaceful protest against police brutality and propagate violence which is not an accurate representation of the demonstration.
Unfortunately for Uche, she was one of the victims of these looting as she shared pictures of her business store destroyed and empty. She took to Instagram to share these sad pictures with the caption,
“I was still trying to get myself to recover from the heartbreak of innocent lives lost yesterday now my hardworking an investment is gone.
Looted by the same people we are fighting for. Oh Lord strengthen me. They took all my years of struggle and hardworking for me…everything… I thank God for life. Posterity will judge all of you. E shock me ooooo”
Following this post, the actress also confirmed to the press that the goods looted from her store was over N100 million. She said that the security officer of her shop was attacked by the looters and he is receiving medical care for his broken head.
