Nigerians have continued to react to the news making the round that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo tested negative for Coronavirus, 24 hours after he went into self-isolation following fears he could have physically interacted with some persons who tested positive.
Earlier In a tweet by Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President of Nigeria on Political Matters, it was disclosed that the Vice President results have returned negative.
Ojudu who made this known on his official twitter handle said “Vice President Yemi Osinbajo tested negative.”

While reacting, a twitter user @iSlimfit said, They thought they were sidelining our starboy, little did they know they were helping him with self-isolation against the virus they already contracted. Now look at God! Baba onísé iyanu.
Another twitter user @TosinOlugbenga, said, Everyone close to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo should do everything to protect him. We are coming to the reality of the fact that Nigeria is NEVER united. It’s a forced marriage of inconveniences where some set of people thinks it their birthright to continue to rule others.

As at Wednesday morning, the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria had risen to 46 following the announcement of two new cases in Osun and Lagos by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC.
