Nigerians Applauds Nnamdi Kanu, Tag Him Prophet

Amid allegations levelled against the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Mallam Isa Pantami, many Nigerians have applauded Nnamdi Kanu for some of his comments about the sponsors of terrorism in the country.

There are several calls for either the removal or voluntary resignation of the Minister, yet the Nigerian government kept mum over the allegations linking Pantami with extremism (read more here).

In a trend on Twitter, many Nigerians who lauded Nnamdi Kanu described him as a Prophet who foresaw many things playing out in Nigeria some years before now, hence his stand on the need for the South-East region to be granted freedom.

Kanu had also reacted to the allegations levelled against Pantami, noting that there is nothing like a repentant Terrorist.

Speaking on how Nnamdi Kanu had maintained his ground over the call for secession from Nigeria, many tweeps applauded his doggedness, despite opposition from the Nigerian government.

Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Emman Powerful, had opined that the federal government had at several times made attempts to buy Kanu over to no avail.

According to Powerful, the Nigerian government had made several futile attempts to buy Kanu so he would dump his Biafra agenda.
