Nigerian Female Minister Has COVID-19
A Nigerian female minister has tested positive for the ravaging COVID-19.
Report said the Minister for Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen‘s COVID-19 test result showed that she has been infected with the virus.
According to her she and her family members had to take the routine test though she was asymptomatic, but later came out positive.
She however urged Nigerians to protect themselves and adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocols.
“I urge you all to please take responsibility for yourself and family in order to protect our dear country even more at this time.”
Nigeria is currently going through the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic with the daily increase in the positive cases recorded daily.
The number of the newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria as of December 26, 2020 are 829.
There have been 1,247 COVID-19 related deaths in Nigeria so far, while the total number of infections in Nigeria is now 83,576.
