English Premier League side Newcastle United is the side to be ready to offer Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen up to N4 billion (€9million) in salary per year, should he sign for the next season. Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to Premier League clubs with Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle United looking interested, but the Magpies have again emerged as the major contender to land the star, Napoli.

The Super Eagles striker has been valued at €100million. Newcastle United had already attempted to sign the 23-year-old in January, and are determined to sign the target in the summer and double his current wage at the Serie A side. Nigeria is said to be ‘tempted’ by the offer, and there are suggestions that Newcastle’s guaranteed status in the topflight for next season will be another factor the attacker will consider.
French Ligue 1 side Paris St-Germain also showed interest in the player as they believed he will be the perfect replacement for France International Kylian Mbappe who is heavily linked with a move to the Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid. Victor Osimhen is currently the most expensive African player and should he make the move to the English Premier League to join Newcastle United, he will become one of the most expensive strikers in the world.
