Nigerian politician and philantropist, Ned Nwoko has given the reason for marrying the mother of his new born son, Regina Daniels.
The former member of the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003 representing Aniocha North-South and Oshimili South, Delta State married Regina Daniels, daughter of actress Rita Daniels in 2019.
Regina Daniels who was aged 19 then became the 6th wife of the 59 years old lawyer. Regina, a Nollywood actress who started her acting career at age 7 has now delivered a baby boy for the Nigerian politician.
The marriage between the duo led to controversy in the public due to the age difference. Ned has since given reasons for marrying Regina.

Nigerian politician and lawyer, Ned Nwoko has stated the reasons for marrying his sixth wife, Regina Daniels.
In his words ”I like her when I saw her, especially when I found out that she was from that place. I had always wanted to have somebody (a wife) from my side. We were introduced to each other and one thing led to another. That was when I found out she is a very decent girl. I have always said that I wouldn’t marry anybody who isn’t a virgin and that is very important to me. When I found out that she was a virgin, it reinforced my decision to marry her. I married all my wives as virgins.”
These words by the lawyer has got people talking.
