The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC Professor Umar Garba Danbatta has urged telecom to make data prices more affordable to Nigerians.
Danbatta, who made the appeal at First Virtual Edition of the Telecoms Consumer Parliament (VTCP) in Abuja said the gesture will show that the Telecoms companies reciprocate the reduction in the Right of Way (RoW).
According to him, the call for affordable data is imperative given how the Federal government has reduced charges of RoW below 145 naira per linear metre.

He added that the commission has not relented in ensuring that the quality of telecom services is sustained during and post COVID-19 period despite the Coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, the Executive Commissioner Stakeholders Management, Mr Adeleke Adewolu warned against the activities of cybercrimes urging the people to remain vigilant.
