Nigerian gospel singer and the brain behind the Halleluyah Challenge, Nathaniel Bassey has justified his condemnation for a get-rich-quick scheme.
The singer in a post on his Instagram handle reminded his followers about how some people tongue-lashed him a few years ago when he advised them to stay away from the scheme.
He said, he gave the advice when the scheme was very rampant and pleaded with people via his Facebook page to stay away from it.
According to the gospel singer who referred to the book of Proverb, Chapter 13 verses 11, the word of God is true and sure.
Nathaniel Bassey Condemns Get-Rich-Quick Scheme
“A few years ago I advised folks, almost pleading with them on Facebook then, to stay away from some of those get rich quick schemes that swept across the land like wildfire.
They almost ate me raw. I mean they dragged me to social media gutters. Calling me all sorts of names.
I even went as far as showing them this scripture. But no, some pumped in their entire savings.
Today looking back we can say the word of God is TRUE AND SURE, Brethren, GOD is much older than us. When He speaks, please let’s listen.”
A get-rich-quick scheme is a term that is used for people who plan to obtain high rates of return for a small investment within the shortest time possible.
