The former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has commiserated with the family and friends of former Ondo Governor Bamidele Olumilua, who passed away at the age of eighty years.
Mimiko, who posted a photo of himself and the late former governor on his Twitter handle said he had called the immediate family members of the late Olumilua.
He described late Olumilua as his leader, consummate politician, humanist, a man of faith, and a lover of the masses.
According to Mimiko, the late former governor remained true to his leadership roles to him till the end adding that he valued him like a true political beneficiary.

He further commiserates with the political and religious associates, Ekiti people, Ekiti State government and all lovers of social democratic governance.
Mimiko said the late Olumilua devoted most part of his adult life to good governance.
Late Olumilua, who was elected on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) was forced to leave office when the military regime of General Sani Abacha took power.
While he was alive, he served as Diplomat of Nigeria to the state of Canada.
