Ravel Morrison said he used to steal Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney’s boots at Old Trafford, he said he sells them to help raised funds to feed his family. The player graduated from Manchester United’s academy when Sir Alex Ferguson was still with United.
After he was impressed with his games, the manager promoted him, but he made no Premier League appearance for United until he left. He played only four games with United of which all were in the English FA Cup.
He was later sold to West Ham United in 2012 by Sir Alex Ferguson. According to the report, it was said that Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand usually get plenty of pair of boots. The England international opened up that he usually takes one pair each.
Ravel said to Rio Ferdinand that he gets like £250 for a pair of boots. He takes two pairs of boots, which will cost £500, he does that to feed his family. He also said the two players get like 30 pairs of boots at once.
Ravel Morrison said he does not mean to create harm or do anything terrible, but he does that to put food on the table at home. He is currently playing for ADO Den Haag in the Dutch League.
