English Premier League champions Manchester City have reportedly launched a £100million bid for Tottenham Hotspur and England skipper Harry Kane. According to reports, the golden boot winner has been liked by Manchester United and Manchester City, but it is City that has tabled an offer.
Manchester City Make Harry Kane Bid
Man City offer will be submitted to Daniel Levy and co after the Euro 2020 tournament. The Etihad outfit is keen to sign the player as a replacement for Sergio Aguero. He joined Barcelona after the end of the 2020/21 season.
However, Tottenham spokesperson Levy is said to have placed a £150million price tag for the attacker,
Levy speaking, said: “There is a market out there. What we want and what other clubs want is not always possible to achieve.
We will do whatever is right for the club.” Manchester City said they are not willing to pay the price for his age. Man City believes that Harry Kane is injury prone as the player has struggled with persistent ankle injuries in recent years, so they can not risk that.
Harry Kane is yet to score a goal in the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament. He is still struggling to make an impact in the competition. Sergio Aguero’s departure from East Manchester has left them wondering who will fill the goal-scoring void created due to his absence.
