Nigerian Singer Naira Marley is yet to honour the invitation of the Lagos State police command over the alleged violation of the lockdown order announced by the state Governor Babajide Sanwolu.
Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley is being wanted by the state police command for attending a house birthday party organised by Nollywood Actress, Funke Akindele, for her husband, which is in contraception of the order that forbids gathering of people more than twenty.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Bala Elkana, said while while Naira Marley is yet to honour the invite, Funke Akindele’s husband has.
He also said the actress, popularly called ‘Jenifa’, and her husband were taken to a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, Lagos.
Under the Lagos Infection Diseases Regulations 2020, Funke Akindele, her hussband and Azeez Fashola risk a jail term of one month or N100,000 fine or both.
