The federal government through the COVID-19 Presidential Task Force has announced that the first phase of the partial lockdown continues for the next two weeks. It says the time is not right yet for the economy to return to normal as a result of the pandemic.

Secretary to the Government and Chairman of the PTF, Mr Boss Mustapha made the announcement earlier today Monday while addressing news men in Abuja Nigeria.
Boss Mustapha pointed out that Nigeria is not ready to reopen fully despite the recorded progress. He entrated that the eased lockdown will remain in place for another two weeks. This he said is to ensure proper provisions are in place before the economy returns to normal.
