Laycon is unarguably the most popular name on the lips of Nigerians in a couple of months now.
The music artist in a recent interview with tabloid, Nigerian Tribune, disclosed his first passion before his new found passion, music, which has now taken him to limelight.
Laycon reveals that he was passionate about sports especially football right from childhood. He also stated that he used to be a goalkeeper back then before picking up music.
When asked why he excelled in sports topics in the house, the President of the ‘Icons’ was quick to mention his first found passion.
In his word, “I have always loved sports. In fact, right from childhood, I have always had a passion for sports and football. I was a very good goal keeper even.
“However, after I discovered my passion for music, I had to drop sports” he added.
Although he does not have a favorite football team, he however have a favorite coach in Jose Mourinho of Tottenham Hotspur.
Laycon and fellow housemate, Ozo won a sports related task sponsored by Guinness tagged ‘Making A Difference’.
He also won a Betway-sponsored quiz which got him a million naira with Dorathy as well as a chance to meet Nigerian music producer and Betway ambassador, Don Jazzy.
