Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemates, Laycon & Kiddwaya has been verified on microblogging platform, Twitter.
This is coming months after both housemates made names for themselves during the Nigerian most-watched reality TV show.
Fans of both Lockdown housemates have called on Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, to get their favourite housemates verified.
The Season 5 edition winner has been the breakout celebrity in Nigeria this year. The music artiste has been on the trending list on social media platforms since the Big Brother Naija show began.
The BBN winner has 768k followers on Twitter while Kiddwaya who is also verified has over 300k followers as at 17th of December, 2020.
Fans of both Lockdown housemates has since taken to the app to congratulate them as well as appreciating the Twitter team for verifying their favourite celebrities.
Laycon’s fan base called ‘Icons’ have made the BBN winner get to the Twitter trend table as #VerifiedLaycon has been one of the most discussed topic since the verification of the Lockdown housemates.
Meanwhile, Kiddwaya has cried out over a fake account in his name. The billionaire’s son labelled the account which has ‘Kiddwaya Entertainment’ as fake.
