The music artiste who rose to prominence after participating in the Big Brother Naija reality TV show is nominated in the ‘Digital Artiste of the year’ category of Gage Awards.
The President of the ‘Icons’ has Wizkid, Davido, Mayorkun, and Yemi Alade to compete with in the voting process for the Digital Artiste of the year for 2021.
The category celebrates the artiste who have leveraged on the digital platform effectively to express his/her talent and galvanise interest for his/her craft in the year 2020 which will be decided by public votes.
The celebrated season 5 winner of the Big Brother show is currently making progress on the voting portal as his fans and followers roots for him once again.
Laycon as an artiste has hit songs such as ‘Fierce’, ‘Hip-Hop’, ‘Senseless’, and so on. He has also featured on remix of hits such as ‘Baba Fela’ by Mr.Real ft Zlatan and ‘Nobody Icon Remix’ by DJ Neptune ft. Joeboy.
