Lawmakers in the Kogi State House of Assembly have endorsed the State Governor, Yahaya Bello for the 2023 Presidency.
During Wednesday’s plenary in the State House of Assembly, the lawmakers revealed that the decision to endorse Bello was borne out of his outstanding performances.
According to the Majority leader, Abdullahi Bello, Governor Bello has recorded success in battling kidnapping and armed robbery. He added that the Governor Bello-led administration has transformed the state from the kidnap capital of Nigeria.

He further stated that the Speaker and Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly upon due deliberation decided to pass a vote of confidence on Governor Bello.
The Majority leader, however, described Bello as a fit and proper person, with the experience and track record to rule the Nation come 2023.
It was gathered that the Kogi lawmakers opined that the North Central Zone has not had a shot at the Presidency.
