Lagos residents have taken a strong more against the seat of a serving state Lawmaker. Amuwo Odofin Stakeholders Consultative Forum is the group behind the showdown.
The forum has moved for the recall Mojisola Alli- Macaulay, who made a statement about Nigerian youth recently.
Mojisola is lawmaker representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency I. According to her constituents, she is to be recalled for her unguarded statements about Nigerian youth.
The Lagos residents in a 2-page letter, stated the 5 things they have against her.
- She does not have a functional constituency office as required by law within the constituency for almost two years in office.
- She has not prepared any bill aimed at improving the lives of her constituents by extension Lagos State.
- Her continuous representation is totally against the wellbeing of her constituents.
- It was widely circulated on major social media platforms that she used COVID-19 palliative items as gifts at her birthday party.
- She has also religiously remained inaccessible since she assumed office.
