The Lagos State Police Command has announced that it won’t allow any form of violent protest, gathering or procession in the state.
According to the Police Command, some unpatriotic individuals and groups are planning to embark on Fresh EndSARS protest.
The warning was contained in a Statement issued by Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer.
Adejobi said certain individuals have concluded plans to lure unsuspecting Lagosians into Fresh EndSARS protest which is proposed to commence on Monday 7th December 2020 at designated locations in the state.
Fresh EndSARS Protest
The Command further reiterated that it will not fold arms seeing individuals or groups orchestrating another violence and anarchy in the state.
It, however, warned parents and guardians to discourage their children and wards from being lured into any act, gathering or protest capable of causing violence in the state.
The Police PPRO opined that the Government of Lagos State, businesses, individuals and security families still groan in losses and pains that the last violent Endsars protest occasioned.
Meanwhile, the police command encourages Lagosians to go about their lawful businesses adding that all hands are on deck to maintain law and ordering the State.
