Nigerian movie act and director Kunle Afolayan, has named a newborn pup after an Anikulapo movie character.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the 48-year-old was seen carrying a puppy, saying, “I’m thinking of a name to give him”.
Kunle Afolayan them further declared that the puppy would be called “Saro” and he would find the right Arolake for him.
Saro is an act in his recently released Netflix movie, Anikulapo, a travelling clothes weaver who was beaten to death for having an affair with the Alaafin’s youngest wife named Arolake.
The puppy, a caucasian shepherd mixed breed, is the product of two of his other dogs named Ayo and Ire.
