The kidnappers and killers responsible for the kidnap and murder of Mr. Nnadi Michael, the catholic seminarian from Good Shepherd Major Seminary at Gonin Gora, Kakau, Kaduna State, have been busted.
Mr. Nnadi Michael and three other seminarians were kidnapped on January 9, 2020, by the criminal gang at the seminary. Whilst three of these seminarians were released on January 31st after a ransom was paid, the lifeless body of Mr Nnadi was discovered in the bush.
Further investigations also revealed that the suspects were part of the criminal gang that kidnapped the wife of one doctor Ataga and her two daughters on January 24th 2020 in Juji, Kaduna State.
Mrs. Ataga was killed after she resisted the attempt by the leader of the gang to rape her. The suspects after collecting a ransom from her family released her daughters and her corpse to them.
The same gang is suspected to have been affiliated with a lot of kidnaps within Kaduna state and its environs. They confessed to carrying out other clandestine operations along Abuja-Kaduna expressway and are known to belong to a terrorist network operating in North central, Nigeria.
