Following hushpuppi’s fraud case that has been on for over a year, Kemi Olunloyo, a popular journalist, has disclosed the number of years he might be sentenced to in jail.
Recall that the Instagram influencer, alongside some of his associates, was arrested in July last year by the Dubai police amid a global cyber scam claim.
The Dubai Police had stated that Hushpuppi and his gang practised in hacking corporate emails and then sending counterfeit messages to the clients of the companies whose email accounts they have hacked to redirect financial transactions and bank details to their accounts.
Since last year, his case has been in court and following this, Kemi Olunloyo has revealed the number of years he might likely be sentenced to. She posted a picture of a tweet she made stating that he might be sentenced to 20 years.
Kemi Olunloyo said, “As i predicted, today is the last day in October that Hushpuppi could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison. His sentencing is even delayed due to some sealed filings by both sides. Louis Shapiro and the US Feds/FBI.“
