Manchester United young star Mason Greenwood has been listed alongside Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Karim Adeyemi of Austrian among other young players for the Golden Boy award. The Golden Boy award is given to the best performing under-21 footballer in Europe and is voted by sports journalists around the continent.
Karim Adeyemi Nominated for Golden Boy Award
19-year-old Nigeria and Austria star who is linked with a move to German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich has made a sensational start to this season and so made the list. The star scored 14 goals in just 18 appearances across all competitions.
Saka and Manchester United star Mason Greenwood also made the list. Saka has enjoyed a successful year for both club and country, be was at the 2020 Euro and played a pivotal role in England’s journey to the Euro 2020 final.

Other exciting young players who made the list include Borussia Dortmund and England forward Jude Bellingham, Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, and Barcelona’s Pedri. The winner is set to be announced before the end of the year.
